Meet the designer

From Poland to Aberdeen, your graphic designer

I am Maria, the graphic and web designer behind Design by Maria. I grew up in Poland, settled in Aberdeen, and now work directly with small businesses across the UK and beyond. Work with me and you deal with one person from the first idea to the final files. No account managers, no templates, just design built around your business.

My story

Design that feels considered, never off the shelf

Design by Maria started with a simple belief: small businesses deserve the same considered, professional design as the big brands, without the agency price tag or the endless waiting. So I built a studio around exactly that.

Before I open a single design file, I take the time to understand your business, your customers and what you want people to feel. Then every colour, font and layout is chosen on purpose, around you. You leave with print ready and web ready files, plus a short guide, so your brand is easy to use everywhere.

Good design should feel clear, intentional and easy to trust.

The experience

What working with me looks like

  • A focused visual direction before we begin

I make sure I understand your business, your audience and what you want people to feel when they see your brand. No guesswork.

  • Every choice made on purpose

I do not use templates. Every colour, font and layout is chosen around your specific business and the people you want to attract.

  • Everything ready to use from day one

You receive print ready files, web ready files and a short guide, so you know exactly how to use your new brand across every platform.

An absolutely lovely girl who is so talented and so professional! I was quite picky with what I wanted for my website but Maria was so professional and patient with me and worked hard until we got the finished result. I've had my business for 7 years and I was waiting for the perfect person to design my website and that was Maria! I would recommend her to anyone who is serious about building their business! I wholeheartedly recommend Marysia! She truly knows her stuff when it comes to websites and, most importantly, she really understands her clients. She's incredibly helpful, patient, and understanding even with “difficult clients” like me. She created my website and continues to look after it. She always keeps an eye on everything and even reminds me when things like my domain are about to expire. You can genuinely rely on her 100%. Communication with Marysia is always easy and pleasant, and the whole collaboration is smooth and professional. If you're looking for someone to create and manage your website, Marysia is the best choice!
